Terms of event
Our event includes swapping clothes and accessories you bring to our event. These terms of service apply to the event you choose to attend.
These terms of exchange are an agreement between us and the swappers involved in the exchange. By purchasing a ticket you are agreeing to the conditions of our event.
1. EVENT CONDITIONS
When you hand over your items to us on the day of the event we call that the process of exchange. For this exchange to work for all parties involved there are rules to follow:
-
The items you provide must be of good quality condition and fit for exchange
Any items that are appraised (at Trashie’s discretion) to be unfit for exchange will not be accepted for the event. Trashie determines these factors off visual and olfactory signals and reserves the right to not accept an item. If this leaves you with less than the minimum amount of items to swap you will still be allowed to participate.
-
Your items must not be stolen
If the company deems these goods to be stolen or after the fact it is alerted to our attention we are not at fault for the repercussions to follow. We may (i) refuse to accept or sell the Goods, (ii) hand those Goods over to the appropriate authorities.
(c) Brands we do not accept
Due to our event being an environmental and social endeavour, there are various brands we will not accept to be swapped this is due to (i) Environmental impacts (ii) longevity of pieces (iii) brands that are deemed undesirable based on peer-reviewed qualitative and quantitative data

Should Trashie resolve that an individual has in any one incident or through a pattern of behaviour engaged in misconduct or otherwise failed to meet the standards of behaviour expected of our swappers, we may in our sole discretion take any of the following actions:
